Fun in the sun

Spring is in full bloom, and summer is only a bone’s throw away, giving us the perfect opportunity to spend quality time outside with our pets. So here are some ideas to make the most of warmer, brighter days – from fun activities to outdoor essentials.

Stay hydrated

The first rule of any summer in the sun with your pet is to keep them hydrated. Whether the sun is shining and you’re taking those paws outdoors or the clouds are out and you’re having an indoor play date, your furry friend should always have access to fresh, clean drinking water.

Have a pet picnic

What’s a warm day without a picnic? Let your four-legged friend in on the fun with our pet-friendly treats, and say cheers to the summer with alcohol-free ‘beer’ that is sure to get their taste buds tingling. In need of a fun activity? Treat them to a game of fetch for hours of fun.

Cool off

As much as we love a heatwave (a definite rarity here in the UK), our furry friends might not be so keen. Explore cooling mats and other accessories to keep them cool and comfortable during the warmer months.

Summer scents

The summer can bring out the most wonderful of scents… and sometimes your pet can bring home the worst. Eliminate those pesky smells with scented cat litter and shampoos that can clean up even the muckiest of pets. Odour and stain removers are also a great secret weapon to take care of accidents. They’re safe to use around pets, and use enzymes to break down stains and pheromone blockers to discourage repeat offences.

Get in shape

When the sun is shining, there’s only one place where we want to be with our pet – outside! Master the game of catch with our collection of toys, ranging from football and tennis to frisbee. Or keep your cat entertained with our clever hunting circuits.

Hit the road

Whether you’re driving your pet to the local park or your holiday destination (meaning they’re in for the long haul), get your pet from A to B with our travel essentials, including car restraints and carriers, water bowls and bottles, or this paw washer that helps keep car seats free of muddy paw prints.

Parasite protection

Fleas, ticks, and worms are a serious pain in the backside. To make the job easy, we recommend setting up a Repeat Order of your pet’s flea, tick and worming treatments so you never miss a dose. We also like to treat our home with a household spray, which will help break the flea life cycle (never use these sprays on your pet, though).

Pick a playmate

Playing with your pet around the clock would be the ideal way to spend a lazy day, right? But when the hecticness of everyday life takes over, we’ve got the perfect pick of playmates for your pet to keep them entertained. Explore our collection of toys and games for a helping hand.
